The film­ma­ker’s mother and her fri­ends talk about their Nazi lega­cy after the war.

They were born in Kas­sel in 1937 and atten­ded the same class throug­hout their school years. They have met regu­lar­ly sin­ce gra­dua­ting from high school in 1957. They were child­ren during the Nazi era and the bom­bing of their city. When did they find out about the Nazi cri­mes? Did they ask their par­ents about it? The daugh­ter of one of them inter­views them more than 50 years later.
